AI is used by both players and spectators in Go matches. However, even as they do so, they respect the players’ moves and enjoy the match as a human activity. It is a tool, nothing more and nothing less. I think the same is true for shogi, but I don’t know much about the world of shogi. AI is a perpetual frontier of IT. Are the people and organizations that use AI using it as a reference and incorporating it? Any use that does not achieve this will stall. And once a tool has established its place, it can no longer be called AI.
AI is a perpetual frontier of IT.
